Sabrina began covering COVID-19 from San Francisco, where the first U.S. cases were recorded, and later became the dedicated COVID-19 reporter for CBS Atlanta, helping viewers navigate the rapidly evolving crisis with clarity and compassion. She was awarded an Emmy for her coverage of the devastating Leominster floods, becoming the first Brazilian-born journalist on American television news to receive the honor.
